Bekadee books is a family run company. Every book is handcrafted by us, here in the Wairarapa. Our stories and art are created by us without the use of Ai.
We started the company to make enjoyable custom books for our daughter Avalyn. But would now love to share those stories from our family to yours.

From the characters, to the worlds they live in. Every illustration in these books (and my art prints) are created by me, Rebekah Champion, giving each Bekadee books it's own warm, recognisable personality.
No generative AI is used in our stories or illustrations.
Bekadee's Goal
Our dream is to create unique stories, that are fun for kids and adults. Some pages have lessons, others are just plain funny or silly! We manufacture the books ourselves in house. We pride ourselves on our handcrafted approach where our books are perfectly imperfect.
Every story is quality tested by our daughter, Avalyn. If it doesn't get a giggle, it doesn't get sold!
One Of A Kind Font
These stories are written in my own digitalized handwriting. It doesn't always look perfect, but my goal is to make these books feel human, and not mass produced by machines.
